Just about 30 minutes south of Mendoza. Enormous suite with living room, three bathrooms, double showers both inside and outside, hot tub, plunge pool, fireplaces on rooftop and in the living room, and views of the Andes over the vines. Found out they were selected number 8 Hotel in the world and number 1 in South America. Only 18 rooms, spread out in separate villas. We lucked into an upgrade because I know a guy from my days at Group 1 Software who is close friends with the owners. It was great!

ReplyDeleteWe thought so too. And it was great. Then today we went to a place called The Vines about an hour south in the Uco Valley. And I felt like we were slumming it at the Cavas Wine Lodge. Many great places here.
