Another lovely day here. The weather gods are smiling on us again. Hit a museum and trendy area near Itaewon, walked a cheesy tourist street in Insa-dong where there were hundreds of people dressed in hanbok. Fascinating. Walked through an old style Seoul village, but then ... shut out for dinner on a Sunday night!
I confess, I work to find interesting and good restaurants or food stalls wherever we go. Almost obsessively. But after hours of searching tonight, no luck. I had about 15 candidates on my list. One restaurant was closed for renovation, one we couldn't find - ever, and one turned out to be too far away (google maps has a really hard time with navigation, like it doesn't work at all). But we got lots of steps in, so there you go. John finally called it over after a few hours walking around in search.
Defeat looks like Caesar salad and a club soda, purchased in the hotel lobby, consumed in the exec lounge. We might have done room service but just can't swallow that 40$ burger.
