We did not eat at the ramen restaurant below, as the photo was enough to scare one off.
We had street food octopus (takoyaki) which is basically a spherical pancake about the size of a golf ball. Looks a little like a Dunkin' Munchkin but inside it is like warm pancake batter with a hunk of chewy octopus.
Famous food for Osaka - check. We didn't ask for the recipe :)
