The last picture says it all. We moved into an AirBnB yesterday, and a really nice one. I would eat off the floors, seriously. It is huge by Japan standards, and a really weird layout with a separate bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Windows everywhere with loads of natural light.
It is 100 percent automated so you can push one button and fill your bath (default temperature is 113F. Not kidding.) Fantastic find!
We LOVE it. Private elevator that opens to our apartment, and we have 4 balconies. We are 1 minute walk from Kitasando station and 10 minutes walk into the heart of Harajuku/Omatesando areas. There are little back streets everywhere with hundreds of random shops and restaurants. What a great location!!
We arrived at 4pm yesterday and immediately emptied our suitcases, washed everything (even all the clean clothes) then walked to a nearby Thai restaurant. Then shopped for some groceries around the corner, and had breakfast at home today!
We now think we should have done way more apartments vs the hotels where we have been for the last few months.
