That's right, they like it so much they have two every year. Fruhlingsfest celebrates the arrival of Spring. 400,000 people over the course of a week! There's nothing quite like a couple thousand Japanese singing German beer songs. They know all the words and their enthusiasm is amazing.

ReplyDeleteThe festival was HYSTERICAL. Please look up the Lasso song or "Cowboys and Indians" or "top 10 German Oktoberfest Songs" and find this one. Then look at it in German on video. Then imagine THOUSANDS of Japanese people who know every lyric and every dance move to the song. You will never laugh so hard in your life. Never. I am committing to learning this song, in German, in time for Oktoberfest. And I'll bring the beer goggles.
