This 1974 video work "Headless Woman" is by Nil Yalter. Over 20+ minutes, a woman is writing a sort of feminist manifesto starting around her belly button. It continues with writing down the sides of her waist. Only her torso is ever shown. Pretty racy for an Egyptian chick raised in Istanbul, even if she did move to Paris in her 20s. She was born in 1938, paving the way for women who like to roar (Helen, Mel, Sandy and so on).
