Millenium Hilton Seoul

Now that we are out of the bargain areas of Asia, we are cashing in our points at Hyatt and Hilton. We loaded up on a bunch of silly credit card offers last spring, and in about 6 months we had enough for about 3 weeks of hotels, which we are using where we can in Korea and Japan. Big savings!

We got upgraded to an executive floor room with breakfast and drinks, etc. and our room has a fantastic view over Namsam Mountain and Park and Seoul Tower. A great hike up about 900 feet to start the day with amazing views over Seoul. There is also an outdoor "gym" about halfway up complete with weights, a mirror, elliptical trainers etc.

The hotel itself is pretty nice. Great gym and pool, plus a driving range on the roof. But they have the whole 40$ hamburger thing happening so not eating here! There is also a casino but it is a sad state of affairs. Just serious gamblers and the slots don't even make noise. So eerily quiet for a casino. Rooms are very large for Seoul, and we are 5 minutes walk from Seoul Station. The metro system here is enormous and works really well.
