Each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, they turn a bunch of streets in the Old Quarter and around the lake into walking streets, and they are HOPPING. Nice mixture of local and tourist and everyone is out enjoying the restaurants and bars. On Sunday afternoon they had tons of games for kids - tug of war, bamboo stilts, jenga, jumping over moving bamboo, and you could just jump into the games any time. Didn't see single kid with their face in their phone and they were having a great time.
