Could this flight plan be worse?

This is a snapshot of our flight path from Istanbul to Delhi. I'm watching this as we are flying and thinking, isn't there someplace dangerous we're NOT flying over. Path includes Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

    I noticed, on my globe and world map, on which I am tracking you. Go home by a different route, say the wise men.
