Peacocks at the Taj Rambagh
I went for a jog around the front gardens at the palace hotel and was overwhelmed by peacocks, the national bird of India. There must have been 100 on the grounds (about 40 acres). As I was running down this path I was startled to find 4 beautiful males sitting on the garden wall. None of the shy guys would strut his stuff. This palace looks huge and it is (unless you are a Maharajah I guess and you have to make room for the harem) but this entire hotel only has 74 rooms, and you really feel like a king. The service certainly enhances the royal feel. Impeccable!
